Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times Understand and help drive improvements to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices. and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) Collaborate with production team members to maintain continuous flow of syrup to the lines Mix and blend ingredients to create various batches. Learn to safely and efficiently operate batching equipment including set up, operation, and sanitization Ensure food safety through quality checks and accurate record keeping Inventory and control ingredients and receive sugar Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to learn about how processing equipment works. Mechanical understanding and food manufacturing experience preferred Ability to quickly learn to operate a forklift safely around pedestrians Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software Basic mathematical skills to make production calculations Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs. (Will they frequently need to lift, push and pull this amount? Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift. Ability to frequently kneel, squat, climb stairs/ladders, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions
