A healthcare technology company that specializes in healthcare interoperability is hiring a VP of Sales to join their team. They were founded in 2012 and the company helps healthcare providers, payers, and third-party organizations securely exchange patient and clinical data to improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative costs, and support value-based care initiatives. Their platform integrates with major electronic health record (EHR) systems and automates traditionally manual healthcare data-sharing processes.
As the VP of Sales, you will lead and scale the GTM strategy across payers and providers. You will own revenue growth, build a high performing team, and drive strategic partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem. This role requires a strong blend of enterprise sales leadership, healthcare domain expertise, cross functional collaboration in a complex data driven environment.
This is a full-time direct hire opportunity. It will be remote, but you will need to attend meetings with the team a few times per quarter in the Boston, MA area.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years in enterprise SaaS or health tech sales, with 5+ years in leadership roles Proven success selling into both payers and providers
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with healthcare data, interoperability, or value-based care solutions
- Track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Familiarity with clinical data exchange (e.g., HIEs, EMR integrations)
- Experience with risk adjustment, quality reporting, or prior authorization workflows
- Experience scaling early-to-growth stage companies
- Background working with complex, regulated healthcare environments
- Strategic thinking with strong execution focus
- Deep understanding of healthcare buyer personas and procurement cycles
- Ability to navigate long, complex enterprise sales cycles
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and executive presence
- Travel as needed to support business goals about 50% What You Will Be Doing
