We’re actively seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst Consultant to join our Tech Enablement Team in Newport Beach, CA. As a Business Systems Analyst Consultant, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career forward by translating complex business needs into scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will lead requirements definitions, product prioritization, process improvement initiatives that support strategic business objectives. You will also drive solution delivery efforts to ensure systems, processes, and capabilities effectively meet evolving business needs.

·         Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business users in the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.

·         Analyzes current and future business needs relating to system application requirements and recommends solutions to business software/hardware system problems.

·         Analyzes complex business problems and works with clients to determine their business needs to transform them into information technology system requirements and recommends alternative methods for meeting those needs.

·         Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.

·         Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner to ensure effective delivery of solutions.

·         Analyzes business processes and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements, configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing.

·         Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

·         Ensures the efficient transfer of in-depth product and/or applications knowledge to users.

Complexity of Assignments:

• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of experience to serve as expert in own area. • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. • Applies functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems and recommend best practices. • Takes a new perspective using existing solutions. • Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements.

Typical Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience • 4-year degree or equivalent experience

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$152,010.00 - $185,790.00
