Position Summary: The ****Yardman for ****Transmission checks materials in and out, loads and unloads materials for the jobs. This position assists subs in loading and unloading materials and maintains the yard.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain inventory.
- Take care of deliveries.
- Help subs load and unload safely
- Keep the yard secure
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years’ of inventory experience
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Must have experience with heavy equipment
- Able to perform rigorous physical labor
- Willingness to learn
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must possess knowledge or be able to learn how to use a computer for:
- Diagnostics
- Equipment Inventory management
- Work Orders
- Able to lift in excess of 50lbs.
- Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position.
- Willing to work over-time when required.
