The Operator.Machine.I works in the FG 3003-040-00075 MFG - Winding - 1100 department to keep the production floor clean, organized, and safe while executing manufacturing tasks on schedule. The role requires strict adherence to NOV safety, HSE, and quality standards, and offers opportunities for cross‑training and overtime. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment.
- Complete tasks according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
- Follow all safety practices and utilize proper PPE at all times.
- Comply with NOV policies, HSE standards, and quality procedures.
- Support team operations and assist with additional duties as assigned.
- Work overtime and various shifts as required.
- Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift, performing frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements.
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Push and pull equipment or materials as needed during the shift.
- Read and follow drawings, instructions, and assembly procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or machine shop environment.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and dependability.
- Good problem‑solving skills and sound judgment.
- High attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly procedures.
- Willingness to be cross‑trained across multiple job functions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
