SRMH is hiring a Cardiology Clinic Scheduler/Insurance Authorization in Harrisonburg, VA.

Job Summary

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8am to 4:30pm / 40 hours a week

The Scheduler schedules procedures for patients in a computerized scheduling system. Accountable for accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process, ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested, has been scheduled. Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, and various clerical duties within scope of role.

Experience One year of customer service experience preferred

One year of medical offer experience preferred

One year of medical terminology preferred

Education High School Diploma or Equivalency required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.44 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
