The Unit Secretary assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities on a patient care unit by performing clerical duties under the direction of one or more RN’s. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Graduation or GED. Prefer medical terminology.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

• Basic Life Support

Minimum Experience

None required. Prefer Six months to 1 year.
