We're seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Director of Sales & Events to lead revenue generation for our 80-room upscale boutique hotel featuring a full-service restaurant, lounge, meeting space, and memorable guest experiences.
This is an opportunity to join the leadership team of a unique hotel and help establish it as a destination for business travel, university events, weddings, social gatherings, and leisure guests
Job Summary:
Develop and execute the hotel's overall sales and marketing strategy.
Generate corporate, group, SMERF, university, sports, and leisure business.
Build strong relationships with local businesses, Oklahoma State University, event planners, and community organizations.
Prospect new accounts while maintaining existing client relationships.
Negotiate group contracts and oversee event sales from inquiry through execution.
Work closely with the General Manager, Revenue Management, and Food & Beverage teams to maximize occupancy and profitability.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community functions.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.
