Position Summary We are seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical and operational functions, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and procedural workflows. This role provides leadership in staffing, compliance, quality improvement, employee development, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily clinical operations
  • Supervise and develop nursing and clinical staff while promoting teamwork
  • Manage employee orientation, training, competencies, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, company, and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate complaints, perform root-cause analyses, and support QAPI initiatives
  • Oversee infection prevention, radiation safety, and other patient safety programs
  • Coordinate audits, reports, safety meetings, drills, and compliance monitoring
  • Identify opportunities for staff education and professional development
  • Maintain required documentation, certifications, and training programs
  • Support physician and employee satisfaction initiatives
  • Promote a culture focused on patient safety, quality, and exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based applications

Preferred

  • Infection Preventionist certification
  • Senior-level healthcare leadership experience
  • Experience with quality improvement, regulatory compliance, or procedural healthcare operations
