Leads, motivates and inspires delivery of business results/claims outcomes through others. Sets region priorities and provides direction to focus teams on areas of greatest opportunity. Creates a vision and talent strategy to develop staff and create talent pools to ensure availability of future talent. Engages, attracts and retains diverse exceptional claims talent and holds others accountable for attracting and developing talent. Manages resources to ensure best in class service and outcomes. Fosters a learning culture that facilitates continuous improvement in a data driven environment. Communicates within Claims and Stakeholders any trends or legal changes impacting outcomes or business results. Interfaces with key Customers, Agents and Brokers at point of sale, throughout the lifecycle and as a thought leader on technical matters, to provide an exceptional customer experience. Maintains strong working relationships within and outside GRS Claims to ensure delivery on claims customer value proposition. Advanced knowledge of insurance and claims handling Strong analytical skills, experience with data driven decision making Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience leading in a changing environment Open to risk taking and challenging the status quo Bachelors degree or equivalent training required, 10+ years of experience related to leading large and complex operations Advanced degree preferred
