Job Description:
Sign On Bonus up to $10,000 for eligible applicants
Relocation Bonus up to $5,000 for eligible applicants
Schedule: Full time
Shift: 8a - 430p Monday - Friday
Location: Hendersonville, NC (may need to float to Asheville location as needed)
- Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans.
- Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data. Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary.
- Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns.
- Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided. Strives to achieve reliability scores at a prescribed rate.
- Explains and modifies teaching strategies to accommodate patients with decreased vision, hearing, or mental status.
- Addresses considerations necessary for the care of patients with special medical conditions.
Education:
- Associate [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
- 1+ experience as a sleep tech [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) [Required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$22.97 - $42.73
