Shift: 2:45 PM-11:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $26.51 an hour + $.75 shift differential

Operations Technician

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain noodle processing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. You will support all areas within the Noodle Department while driving line performance, product quality, food safety, and operational excellence. You will play an important role in production startup, changeovers, sanitation activities, and continuous improvement efforts.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment and production areas for scheduled production runs.
  • Assemble, inspect, and verify machine components are clean and ready before startup.
  • Operate and monitor noodle processing and frying systems to maintain safe, efficient production.
  • Set machine controls and operating parameters according to work orders and product specifications.
  • Coordinate and execute line startups, shutdowns, product changeovers, and line clearances.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and perform basic corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Lead line cleaning activities and verify equipment readiness following sanitation and changeover activities.
  • Enter and maintain accurate production data in LEDS, Infinity, and SAP systems.
  • Support multiple operational areas within the Noodle Department to meet production demands.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Follow all food safety, quality, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
  • Comply with safety policies, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, and personal protective equipment requirements.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience operating manufacturing, processing, or production equipment preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using production reporting systems and computerized data entry tools preferred.
  • Experience accurately completing production and operational documentation.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the safety of fellow team members.
  • Willingness to learn multiple positions and support cross-functional department needs.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as business needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. • Performing consistent repetitive tasks. • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
