Day-to-day responsibilities of this position: Conduct functional behavior assessments to understand the root causes of behaviors Develop individualized behavior support plans based on the functional behavior assessment Create and maintain data systems, including regularly collecting data to track client progress and to make adjustments as needed Work collaboratively with team members and family members Support other members on the behavior health team Provide behavioral training Provide or oversee supervision for behavioral staff as needed Ensure behavior support plans follow ethical guidelines, relevant regulations, and in accordance with best practices Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in applied behavior analysis Assist team in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed Supervise fieldwork hours for BCBA/RBT certification
