Our rehabilitation programs at our 66-bed Oklahoma City North Hospital provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How you'll contribute

A Director of Pharmacy who excels in this role:

  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What we're looking for

  • Education: BS Pharmacy required, PharmD and/or MBA/MS (or equivalent education/experience) preferred.  Must hold a current state license to practice pharmacy.
  • Experience: Minimum five years' experience in hospital pharmacy is desirable.  Demonstrated management/leadership skills and/or program management.
