Job Description:

Forklift Operator– Converting Department

Baltimore, OH

Starting Pay: $25.96/hour 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule | Union Facility Quarterly Bonus Target: 10%

We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who want more than just a forklift job.

This position offers the opportunity to learn our converting operations and progress from

Forklift Operator → Machine Helper → Machine Operator.

What You'll Do:

Forklift Operator

• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely transport finished products and materials throughout the mill.
• Package finished products according to customer specifications, including ticketing, banding, and wrapping.
• Transport products to various on-site warehouses.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete computer-based safety training.

Machine Helper

• Assist Machine Operators with converting equipment and production activities.
• Learn machine parts, equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor product quality and assist with adjustments as needed.
• Follow production standards and customer specifications.
• Support the operator in maintaining a safe and efficient work area.

Machine Operator

• Operate converting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up and adjust equipment to meet production and quality requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
• Complete required production documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning machine parts and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed safety and operating procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Job-specific training, including Powered Industrial Truck training, is provided.

Compensation Range:

The pay for this position is $25.96 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
