DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for an experienced Turret Operator to join a dynamic team.

📍 Working Location: Hartland, WI. 💰 Pay: $23hr - $27hr (depending on experience) Base Hourly Schedule: M - F, 6am - 2:30pm Full Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Operate turret equipment to produce metal components and parts according to blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Set up turret machines by loading raw metal materials, selecting and installing appropriate tooling, adjusting machine settings, and verifying proper tool positioning
  • Work with various metal materials, preparing and machining components to required dimensions, tolerances, and production specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical instructions to determine machining requirements and proper turret setup
  • Load, secure, and position metal workpieces using appropriate fixtures, clamps, tooling, and workholding methods to maintain accuracy during machining
  • Monitor turret machine operations, checking cutting conditions, tooling performance, material positioning, and finished-part dimensions throughout production
  • Adjust tooling, machine settings, speeds, feeds, and offsets as needed to maintain consistent part quality and production requirements
  • Perform drilling, punching, forming, cutting, and other turret machining operations as required by the part design and production process
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Identify tooling wear, dimensional variations, machine issues, and material problems and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, basic maintenance, tooling changes, and troubleshooting to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation while meeting established production schedules and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all company safety, PPE, quality, housekeeping, and production procedures

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of turret machine operating experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment
  • 2+ years of experience working with metal materials, including loading, positioning, cutting, punching, forming, or machining metal components
  • 1+ year of experience setting up turret equipment, including tooling, fixtures, workholding, and machine adjustments
  • 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
  • 1+ year of experience performing in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
  • 1+ year of experience adjusting tooling, machine settings, speeds, feeds, and offsets to maintain part quality
  • 1+ year of experience troubleshooting tooling, machine, and dimensional issues during production
  • 1+ year of experience performing basic machine maintenance, cleaning, tooling changes, and production documentation
