Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

Micron’s Design Engineering Group (DEG) is where bold ideas become real technology. We push the limits of memory and storage innovation in a highly collaborative environment where engineers learn, build, and solve challenges together. Our team is driven by curiosity, creativity, and a passion for developing industry-leading semiconductor solutions that power the future of computing and data-driven technologies.

As a ****Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of next-generation DRAM products. Working alongside experienced engineers across global design, verification, process, and product teams, you will help bring innovative circuit designs from concept to silicon. This role provides an opportunity to develop technical expertise while influencing product performance, quality, and reliability in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and verify block-level circuits for DRAM products using industry-standard design and simulation methodologies.
  • Analyze silicon performance, compare measurement results with simulations, and support design correlation activities.
  • Collaborate with process integration and modeling teams to evaluate and enable new semiconductor process technologies.
  • Partner with global design teams to support schematic development, layout guidance, and post-layout verification.
  • Apply AI, Agentic AI, and Generative AI tools to enhance engineering productivity, design analysis, and problem-solving workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Coursework, internship, research, or project experience in mixed-signal, digital, or analog IC design.
  • Experience with circuit simulation and modeling tools such as SPICE and Verilog through academic projects, internships, or industry experience.
  • Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals, including concepts related to regulators, charge pumps, oscillators, current references, bandgaps, or comparators.
  • Experience using or applying AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or AI-Assisted tools to support technical analysis, engineering workflows, or problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, research, or academic project experience in mixed-signal or analog IC design.
  • Experience with circuit debugging, silicon validation, or laboratory characterization activities.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and Cadence design tools, including schematic capture, simulation, and parasitic extraction.
  • Exposure to Synopsys design and verification tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
