Looking for work costs enough already.
People who are between jobs shouldn't be the ones paying for a job board. There's no subscription and no paywalled listings. The AI tools use a key you bring yourself, so the only bill you might ever see is from your own AI provider, for what you actually use.
Free to you isn't free to run, though. Servers and job scanning cost real money, and right now that comes out of the builder's own pocket. That's why the ChatGPT and Claude connection is built but switched off until there's a way to pay for it. Down the road, employers may be able to pay to feature a job posting. If that happens, those postings will be clearly marked, and everything you see today stays free.

Is Yabot Jobs really free?
Yes. Searching the job board, reading postings, saving jobs, and tracking applications cost nothing.
The AI tools (fitness reports, tailored resumes, and cover letters) run on an API key you add yourself, so any charge comes from your AI provider for what you use. Yabot Jobs adds no fee on top.
If it's free, who pays for it?
Running it isn't free: servers and job scanning cost real money, and for now that comes out of the pocket of the person who built it. Down the road, employers may be able to pay to feature a job posting, which would help keep the lights on. Featured postings will be clearly marked, and job seekers will never pay to search the board or read a posting.
How can I help?
Share postings you come across by pasting their link, and report any listing that looks wrong. Both take a few seconds and help everyone else who's looking.

Do I need an account to search for jobs?
No. You can search and browse the job board without one. Create a free account to save postings, track applications, upload a resume, and use the AI tools.
There's no password. Enter your email and we send a sign-in link that works for 15 minutes.
Where do the job postings come from?
Two places. Yabot Jobs scans public job postings and reads the details out of each page: title, company, location, work type, and pay. And people using the site share postings they find by pasting a link. Every shared posting joins the same board, so one person's find helps everyone.
Can I track jobs I found on other job boards?
Yes. Once you're signed in, paste the link to a posting from another job board or a company's careers page. Yabot Jobs scans it, reads the title, company, location, work type, and pay, and adds it to your jobs. From there you can check your fit, tailor your resume, and track the application with everything else. If a page can't be read, rescan it later.
Which AI providers can I use?
Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or any OpenAI-compatible service. Your key is used only for your own resume reviews, scoring, and generation requests. You add it on the AI API Keys page after you sign in.
Can I edit the resume and cover letter it writes?
Yes. Download them as Word documents (.docx) and change anything you like before you send them.
Can I use Yabot Jobs from ChatGPT or Claude?
Not right now. Yabot Jobs has an MCP server that lets ChatGPT, Claude, and other assistants search the board for you, but it costs real money to run, so it's switched off until there's a way to pay for it. The job board and everything else on this page work the same as before.
Is Yabot Jobs open source?
Yes. The website and the API behind it are both public on GitHub, and the website is released under the MIT license.
