Broadridge is growing!  We are currently hiring a Fulfillment Clerk for our South Windsor, CT location.

Basic Purpose: Responsible for the specialized processing of the company’s products, preparing mail for acceptance by the USPS.  Reports to supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inserting or de-inserting envelopes, printing detail sheets, collecting and validating materials, collating and assembling kits and weighing, metering and sorting envelopes.
• Use of personal computer and a variety of software applications or vendor-provided equipment to track, process and complete work meeting deadlines.
• Monitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job.  Completes all required documentation relevant to every job.
• Follows all departmental and safety procedures.
• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience within a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation
• Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.

Skills/Competencies:

• Attention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills
• Ability to adhere to all quality standards
• Ability to interact and effectively communicate with internal staff, liaisons and clients.
• Basic computer skills

Requirements:

• Demonstrates the ability to work with a sense of urgency while prioritizing tasks to meet or adjust to changing demands.
• Requires standing for 12-hour shifts, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime
• Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies

Shift:   LWD: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday 6:00 AM to 6 PM

Compensation: $18.75 Hourly – Bonus Eligible
