Overview

*As part of our continued growth, we are building a talent pipeline for future Commercial Lines Client Service Manager opportunities here at our West Des Moines, IA office. While this role is not currently open, we anticipate an opening in the near future and we welcome the opportunity to connect with strong talent for these upcoming needs. *

At Gallagher, we’re looking for a Client Service Manager to join our Commercial team. In this role, you’ll lead efforts to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our clients. You’ll work closely with your team and clients to build strong relationships, solve challenges, and ensure every interaction adds value. How you'll make an impact

You’ll take the lead in managing client relationships and ensuring their needs are met. From guiding the renewal process to mentoring team members, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions. You’ll also help secure existing business, explore opportunities for additional services, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Manage the renewal process by compiling information, analyzing needs, and delivering tailored solutions to ensuring proper coverage

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through timely responses and strong customer service

  • Support your team in addressing client risk management needs through consultative conversations and personalized strategies.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high service standards.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and policy data using Gallagher’s systems and performing audits

  • Use Gallagher’s technology to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and deliver quality results.

  • Mentor junior team members by providing transparent feedback, encouraging continuous learning, and fostering professional growth.

  • Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and meet client expectations.

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.
