Job Description
The Sales, Credit and Servicing Center of Excellence (SCS CoE) is seeking a highly motivated Product Designer to support the continued evolution of both the nCino and Moody's CreditLens product portfolios.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across two strategic lending platforms that support critical commercial lending capabilities. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and product leaders, the Product Designer will help shape and improve the end-to-end commercial lending experience by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver scalable business solutions.
This role is best suited for individuals with strengths in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, and Workflow Design. The successful candidate will work closely with business partners to understand how commercial bankers and credit teams operate, gather requirements, define future-state processes, and support delivery of enhancements that drive business value and operational effectiveness.
The Product Designer will play a key role in understanding user needs, defining requirements, designing solutions, and supporting delivery of enhancements across both nCino and Moody's CreditLens. This position requires strong collaboration skills, curiosity, and the ability to navigate complex business processes spanning multiple applications and stakeholder groups. The role will also help support strategic efforts to improve connectivity, automation, and integration between lending and credit-related platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support product discovery, design, enhancement, and continuous improvement efforts across both nCino and Moody's CreditLens.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations partners, and vendors to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop effective product solutions.
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
• Analyze end-to-end commercial lending workflows to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, operational efficiency, and improved user experiences.
• Gather and document business requirements while serving as a liaison between business partners and technology teams.
• Collaborate with Moody's and nCino partners to support platform enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing activities, and release readiness efforts.
• Assist product leadership with roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production readiness activities.
• Contribute to cross-platform solutions that improve data flow, process integration, and operational effectiveness between CreditLens and nCino.
• Document business processes, workflows, and solution designs to support ongoing product maturity and knowledge sharing.
• Build strong relationships across the SCS CoE and serve as a trusted partner for stakeholders involved in lending and credit-related processes.
• Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams to support successful delivery of business and technology initiatives.
• Stay informed on industry trends, commercial lending technology, and product management best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
• Product management experience
Required or Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Product Design, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting user stories, business processes, and supporting Agile delivery teams.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
Preferred
• Experience supporting financial services, commercial lending, underwriting, credit, loan origination, or banking-related platforms.
• Familiarity with nCino, Salesforce, Moody's CreditLens, or similar commercial lending and credit analysis solutions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, and release delivery.
• Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and supporting production implementations.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, operational improvement initiatives, and business process redesign.
• Understanding of commercial banking workflows and the lending lifecycle, including credit underwriting, portfolio management, and related operational processes.
