About Fabric Health

At Fabric Health, we are powering boundless care by solving healthcare’s biggest challenge: clinical capacity. We aren’t here to disrupt healthcare; we’re here to fix it. We unify the care journey from intake to treatment, using intelligent automation to remove administrative burdens and make care delivery 2-10x more efficient. Our technology empowers clinicians to move faster and focus on what matters most: the patient.

We are a mission-driven team of brilliant minds trusted by leading organizations including Intermountain Health, OSF HealthCare, SSM Health, and MUSC Health. Our vision is backed by premier investors such as Thrive Capital, GV (Google Ventures), General Catalyst, and Salesforce Ventures. We move quickly for good reason, listen deeply to solve big challenges, and build products with the same care and quality we’d want for our own loved ones.

About the Role

On Fabric Virtual Care, a clinician can finish an asynchronous visit in about 89 seconds, because intake, symptom assessment, and triage are done before the encounter begins. Keeping a visit that fast for the clinician and that simple for the patient, at every health system that goes live, is the work. As our Product Manager for Virtual Care, you find what slows a visit down on either side of the screen and turn it into shipped improvements.

You work with engineers, designers, and the clinical leads behind our protocols, and you sit across the table from customers, including CIOs, CMIOs, and the leaders who run virtual care at health systems. Virtual Care supports video, phone, chat, and asynchronous visits, runs inside Epic and Oracle Health, and Fabric is now expanding into virtual primary care. You start by owning defined parts of the roadmap and grow your scope as your calls prove out in the data. This seat fits someone a few years into product management who wants more ownership and a direct line to the people who use what they build.

Every visit carries protected health information, so HIPAA and SOC 2 shape how you scope features, read usage data, and run pilots. You use AI tools to synthesize customer interviews, draft specs, and prototype ideas, and evaluate where AI can take administrative work off clinicians. You help decide where AI belongs in the visit itself, with clinical safety as the bar. This role is based in New York City, with three days a week in our Manhattan office.

What You'll Do

As our Product Manager for Virtual Care, your primary responsibilities include:

Roadmap and Discovery:

  • Shape the Virtual Care roadmap by weighing customer feedback, usage data, market trends, and input from sales and clinical leaders.
  • Run discovery with clinicians, patients, and health system teams to find where a visit slows down, confuses people, or drops off.
  • Turn what you learn into clear problem statements, requirements, and success metrics before the build starts.

Build and Ship:

  • Partner with engineering and design to ship consumer-grade experiences for patients and fast, low-friction workflows for clinicians.
  • Work with clinical leads so every change to intake, triage, or documentation keeps care quality and patient safety intact.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to build shared platform capabilities rather than one-off features.
  • Use AI tools to synthesize research, draft specs, and prototype ideas, and evaluate where AI can take administrative work off clinicians.

Launch and Measure:

  • Work hand in hand with customer success and implementation teams on health system rollouts, product communications, and training content.
  • Present product updates to customer stakeholders, including CIOs and CMIOs, and bring their feedback back to the team.
  • Track adoption, visit completion, and clinician time per visit, and use the results to decide what to fix, expand, or stop.
  • Scope every feature with HIPAA in mind, so protected health information is handled correctly from the first spec.

Why You Might Be a Good Fit

  • You have shipped consumer-facing products and can point to the user impact of what you built.
  • You want to join a startup where the roadmap is still being written and you help write it.
  • You enjoy talking with physicians, nurses, patients, and hospital administrators, and you come back with insights the team can act on.
  • You pair vigorous debate and deep research with a clear sense of what needs to ship next.
  • You read the data before you settle on an opinion, and you change course when the numbers say to.
  • You care about the details of an experience, down to the wording on a single intake screen.
  • You believe technology can substantially improve US healthcare, and you want to understand the human processes behind giving and receiving care.

This Might Not Be The Right Fit If...

  • You want a fully scoped roadmap handed to you, with the ambiguity already removed.
  • You would rather build internal tools than products patients and clinicians use every day.
  • You prefer to work through written requirements and avoid customer calls and clinical conversations.
  • You find startup pace draining, where priorities shift as new health systems go live.
  • You see compliance and clinical safety review as obstacles rather than part of building a healthcare product.
  • You prefer manual research and documentation to AI-assisted workflows.

Your Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner at a technology company, focused on consumer-facing products.
  • A record of taking features from discovery through launch and measuring their effect on users.
  • Passion for AI shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on AI research and tools.
  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-powered development environments, and comfort with design and collaboration tools like Figma and Git.
  • Data-driven mindset with fluency in crafting data-driven narratives. You enjoy writing SQL to answer your own questions and thrive on leveraging data to shape and communicate strategic vision.
  • Comfort with low-code and no-code deployment tools and platforms to ship features quickly without heavy backend dependencies.
  • The ability to handle ambiguity and bring structure to complex, cross-functional problems.
  • Clear written communication, from product requirements to release notes and training content.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high bar for product quality and user experience.
  • Curiosity about healthcare workflows, systems integration, and regulations such as HIPAA, which we will help you learn.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building virtual care or telehealth products.
  • A technical, product design, or clinical background.
  • Experience with products that integrate with an EHR, especially Epic or Oracle Health.
  • Experience working with enterprise health system customers.
  • Experience shipping products in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
  • Experience evaluating AI features for quality and safety before launch.
