About the job
Shape the future of document management by owning the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of an AI-enabled platform used across the enterprise. Turn complex customer needs and emerging technologies into intuitive, resilient products that transform the document lifecycle and deliver measurable value at scale.
As a Technical Product Owner- Vice President in Corporate Technology Digital Document Management, you will lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of an AI-enabled platform used across the enterprise. This is an opportunity for an accomplished technical product manager to solve complex customer problems, shape reusable platform capabilities, and deliver products at significant scale. You will act as the voice of the customer and own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from discovery and product strategy through roadmap development, delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. The platform supports the full document lifecycle, including capture, content management, search, workflow, governance, retention, and secure access. Prior document management experience is valuable but not required; candidates with strong technical product experience in enterprise platforms, software-as-a-service (SaaS), workflow, data, search, content, or AI products are encouraged to apply.
You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, design, data, controls, operations, and business teams to turn customer needs into simple, scalable, resilient, and intuitive products. You will be expected to understand platform architecture, application programming interfaces (APIs), integrations, data flows, non-functional requirements, and operational constraints well enough to challenge assumptions, shape technical options, and make informed product trade-offs. You will also define how artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI can improve the way users create, process, find, understand, govern, and use documents—while delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
Job responsibilities
- Set and communicate an inspiring product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for an enterprise AI-enabled platform.
- Own the full product lifecycle, from customer discovery and opportunity assessment through prioritization, delivery, launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer journeys, pain points, and desired outcomes through research, feedback, product analytics, and partnership with users across the firm.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear product outcomes, epics, features, requirements, and acceptance criteria; own and prioritize the backlog against strategic value.
- Partner deeply with engineering and architecture to shape solution options and make informed trade-offs across APIs, integrations, data contracts, cloud and platform patterns, scalability, resiliency, security, observability, technical debt, and speed to market.
- Own the product definition for platform services, APIs, integration patterns, data and metadata capabilities, and non-functional requirements, ensuring they are usable, measurable, supportable, and aligned to enterprise standards.
- Shape reusable capabilities across the document lifecycle, including capture, content management, metadata, search, workflow, records and retention, and secure access and delivery.
- Identify and validate opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI to customer problems, including intelligent processing, extraction, classification, summarization, semantic search, question answering, and automation.
- Define product outcomes and use data to measure adoption, customer experience, reliability, efficiency, risk reduction, reuse, cost, and business impact.
- Lead product launches, onboarding, communications, and change readiness to help teams adopt new capabilities and realize value.
- Build alignment across a complex stakeholder community and present clear product narratives, recommendations, decisions, and progress to working teams and senior leaders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in technical product management or product ownership, including accountability for complex technology products or enterprise platforms, and experience owning end-to-end product strategy and execution (discovery, vision, market and customer analysis, outcome-based roadmaps, investment prioritization, requirements, delivery, launch, adoption, and value realization)
- Experience delivering enterprise technical products, platform services, APIs, integrations, data products, workflow solutions, or shared capabilities through multiple production releases
- Strong technical fluency across system and platform architecture, APIs, event- and data-driven integrations, cloud patterns, data models, scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and non-functional requirements
- Experience partnering directly with engineers and architects to evaluate solution options, challenge assumptions, sequence technical enablers, manage technical debt, and balance customer value with platform health and delivery risk
- Advanced product-management discipline across customer discovery, problem framing, hypothesis development, prioritization frameworks, backlog management, agile delivery, release planning, dependency management, and product operations
- Experience defining key performance indicators and using telemetry, experimentation, customer research, operational data, and financial measures to make decisions and demonstrate adoption, reliability, efficiency, and business value; working knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI product development, including data readiness, model and vendor evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, quality measurement, monitoring, responsible AI, and human-in-the-loop design
- Ability to influence across product, design, engineering, architecture, data, business, and control partners and drive decisions in a highly matrixed organization; excellent communication and product storytelling skills, including simplifying technical complexity, articulating trade-offs, creating compelling narratives and visuals, and engaging stakeholders from delivery teams through senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
