About the job
Join a critical infrastructure team supporting a large-scale enterprise directory services platform used for customer, employee, and machine authentication. This contract opportunity is available in Minneapolis, MN (preferred), Charlotte, NC, or Las Colinas, TX (hybrid, 3 days on-site) and will focus on modernizing highly available identity infrastructure using Python, Ansible, Ruby, Linux, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code, within environments leveraging Ping Directory, Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), OpenLDAP, and LDAP technologies.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking complex, highly operational environments and making them more automated, reliable, and scalable. Rather than traditional application development or system administration, you’ll modernize legacy tooling, eliminate manual processes, and build automation that directly improves the reliability and efficiency of mission-critical authentication infrastructure supporting millions of customer records and transactions.

- Ability to understand and modernize existing scripts and legacy automation
- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production environments
- Strong understanding of platform reliability, deployment automation, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency
