Job Description
A robotics startup North of Boston is hiring a Research Software Engineer for their team. As a Research Software Engineer, you’ll be serving as the bridge between cutting-edge research and production software.
The company specializes in automating tire changing and wheel balancing through AI-powered robotics, helping modernize a process that has remained largely unchanged for decades. You’ll be supporting the software architecture and system design for the product, helping to drive research initiatives forward.
Required Skills & Experience
- Skilled in software architecture and system design expertise
- Skilled in API design
- Skilled in software engineering, testing, documentation, version control, and AI-assisted development tools
- Experience in research, scientific, or R&D research environments
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working in the robotics industry
- 4+ years of development experience
- Degree in a relevant field
