As part of the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) team, you will play a key role delivering Space Vehicle (SV) and payload flight software (FSW) toward our continued success.  Our team delivers on-board functionality, thoroughly tested, and flight ready.  Our support doesn’t end at launch – we are available for our customers throughout operations and sustainment phases.  Come join an exciting team in a fast-paced environment at Lockheed Martin Space!

Key Responsibilities As a Software Engineering Intern within the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) you will contribute to our mission by:

• Collaborate in the design of code implementations
• Develop and test software as part of a larger Agile execution team
• Contribute to peer code review and merge approval

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong analytical/problem solving abilities
• Effective communication for cross-team coordination

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in C++ programming language
• Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems
• Experience working in an Agile Environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
