Superior Skilled Trades is hiring for a direct opportunity with a client in Tampa, FL.
Our client is seeking an Analog/Digital Hardware Engineer to support the design and development of advanced analog and digital electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.
Pay: $140K - $150K
Responsibilities

Design, analyze, prototype, and verify complex analog and digital electronic hardware.

Support the full product lifecycle, including research, architecture, component selection, PCB design, testing, manufacturing support, and sustainment.

Develop hardware for mission-critical applications including radar, electronic warfare, communications, SIGINT, and SATCOM.

Design multi-layer mixed-signal PCBs and support hardware integration and verification.

Select and integrate components including ADCs/DACs, microcontrollers, PLDs, interface devices, and power conversion components.

Work collaboratively with program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other engineering teams.

Support customer requirements, technical proposals, and product development activities.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

5–10 years of progressive analog and digital hardware development experience.

Strong component-level circuit design, analysis, prototyping, and verification experience.

Experience with ADC/DAC implementation and digital signaling such as RS-232/422/485, TTL, LVTTL, CMOS, LVCMOS, LVDS, and SERDES.

Experience with multi-layer mixed-signal PCB schematic and layout.

Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE.

Experience with VHDL or another hardware description language.

Knowledge of EMI filtering, transient voltage protection, DC-DC power conversion, and linear voltage regulation.

Experience selecting interface components, line receivers/drivers, microcontrollers, and PLDs.
Additional Requirements

U.S. citizenship required due to government security clearance requirements.

Up to 10% travel, primarily within the continental U.S.
