Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA you will be:

  • Develop new autonomy features and capabilities for autonomous equipment from concept to production.

  • Solve complex problems related to autonomous equipment software systems.

  • Ensure software quality, fix defects, and implement continuous improvements to autonomous system software.

What Skills You Need

  • Knowledge of production agricultural practices and machines

  • Knowledge of C++ programming and understanding QT / standard libraries

  • An advanced engineering degree in computer science or electrical engineering.

  • Experience with agriculture or construction vehicles or similar industry.

  • Experience with CAN and Ethernet networks.

What Makes You Standout

  • Experience developing software in the Deere GenOS development environment.

  • Experience working with guidance, documentation, or implement control related algorithms.

  • Experience working with and troubleshooting vehicle electrical subsystems, communication networks and protocols.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Agricultural, Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
