As Senior Manager, AI Standards, Controls & Responsible AI, you will build the governance foundation that helps Operations scale end-user AI responsibly. You will shape practical standards, reporting visibility, decision frameworks, and operating routines that allow leaders to move from experimentation toward a more transparent and sustainable AI governance model. This is an opportunity to influence responsible AI practices across Operations and contribute to broader enterprise approaches.
What you’ll do
-
Design and operationalize AI standards, guardrails, lifecycle requirements, and accountability models for end-user AI across Operations.
-
Translate enterprise policies, regulatory expectations, and control requirements into clear guidance, playbooks, and operating practices without weakening control intent.
-
Create scalable intake, review, approval, documentation, inventory, and issue-management processes that support responsible progress.
-
Build AI governance reporting and visibility that helps leaders understand use cases, ownership, activity, risk, and control gaps.
-
Develop practical risk-assessment and decision frameworks for AI use cases, including situations where information is incomplete or risks are still emerging.
-
Establish governance forums, decision routines, escalation paths, and remediation practices that clarify accountability and move issues toward resolution.
-
Partner across Operations, AI product and platform teams, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and control functions to align requirements and resolve dependencies.
-
Communicate complex AI governance and risk concepts in concise, actionable language and influence decisions across organizational boundaries.
What you have
Your success in this role will be grounded in the following skills and demonstrated behaviors:
-
AI and responsible AI knowledge: Apply knowledge of end-user AI tools, AI agents, responsible AI principles, AI governance, and emerging AI risk considerations.
-
Risk assessment and analytical thinking: Evaluate AI use cases, control design, uncertainty, and potential business impacts to support sound decisions.
-
Governance and control design: Create standards, internal control frameworks, lifecycle processes, and operating models that teams can apply consistently.
-
Policy and regulatory interpretation: Convert legal, compliance, regulatory, policy, and operational risk requirements into clear business guidance while preserving control intent.
-
Analytics and reporting: Develop inventories, reporting, issue tracking, and management information that improve transparency and decision-making.
-
Process improvement: Simplify workflows and operating practices while maintaining appropriate controls, documentation, and attention to detail.
-
Stakeholder management and influence: Build collaborative relationships and align business, technical, and control partners without relying on direct authority.
-
Communication: Explain complex AI governance and risk concepts clearly and persuasively to business users and senior leaders.
-
Strategic thinking and adaptability: Connect near-term governance needs to a scalable operating model and adjust priorities as technology, risks, and enterprise expectations evolve.
-
Results orientation: Take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and turn an early-stage governance challenge into a practical and sustainable solution.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
