You will partner with stakeholders to clarify business needs, define requirements, analyze trends, and deliver insights that help inform priorities across deposits, cash features, and money movement capabilities.  You will be part of a collaborative team environment where curiosity, adaptability, ownership, and continuous improvement are highly valued. By partnering closely with business leaders, product owners, data engineers, technology teams, and analytics partners, you will contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable, and well-documented data products while growing your expertise in a highly visible and impactful area of the organization.

Our Opportunity:

Bank Data & Analytics is focused on leveraging data to drive better business decisions and better outcomes. We are a trusted thought-partner who provides actionable insights in a consistent and timely manner. We leverage close, collaborative working relationships with business partners to apply technology solutions to a wide array of business problems and Business Intelligence needs.

We are looking for a highly motivated Data & Analytics Analyst to join Bank & Trust Services and help deliver trusted data, reporting, and insights across our Deposit products, Cash Features, and Move Money capabilities. As a member of a team with broad business impact, you will partner directly with business, product, operations, risk, and technology stakeholders to analyze performance, identify trends, develop scalable reporting solutions, and translate data into actionable insights that improve client experiences, strengthen controls, and support business growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Bank & Trust Services leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, define analytical requirements, and deliver insights that support Deposit products, Cash Features, and Move Money capabilities.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical assets that provide visibility into client behavior, product performance, operational trends, risk indicators, and service outcomes.

  • Use SQL and analytical tools to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from complex financial services datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and business relevance.

  • Identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and opportunities within deposit, cash, and money movement data to inform decision-making, prioritization, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise summaries and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Support data quality, governance, and control activities by documenting logic, validating outputs, and collaborating with technology and data teams to resolve data-related issues.

  • Help advance modern analytics practices by improving self-service reporting, documenting trusted metrics and data lineage, exploring automation opportunities, and translating insights into clear business recommendations.

What you have

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.

  • 3+ years of experience using SQL to perform structured programming, ad hoc querying, data validation, and analysis across relational databases or cloud-based data platforms.

  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, assess data quality, and connect findings to business outcomes.

  • Ability to work directly with business partners to clarify objectives, document requirements, and deliver practical data solutions that meet business needs.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, multiple concurrent efforts, and tight timelines.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings, data limitations, and business implications to stakeholders at varying levels of technical depth.

  • Experience working with financial services, banking, deposit, cash management, payments, or money movement data is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, documentation, repeatability, and trusted reporting practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud data platforms and modern analytics tools, including Google Cloud, BigQuery, Python, R, or similar technologies.

  • Knowledge of Bank & Trust Services, deposit products, cash features, ACH, wires, checks, payments, transfers, or broader Move Money capabilities.

  • Experience supporting product, operations, risk, control, or client experience analytics within a regulated financial services environment.

  • Experience with modern analytics practices, including data storytelling, self-service reporting, data governance, automation or AI-enabled analysis, and delivering dashboards, datasets, or reporting assets as scalable data products.
