Healthcare Technology Company | Senior Platform Engineer
A large healthcare organization focused on building and managing enterprise cloud platforms is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Chicago, IL.
In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure while driving platform engineering initiatives across the organization. You'll work closely with development teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automate infrastructure management, and establish Kubernetes deployment standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and GitHub
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Kubernetes deployment standards
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and analytics tools to improve platform reliability and performance
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience contributing to platform engineering strategy and roadmaps
- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
