About the job

Consultant, Product Management

Join us as a Consultant, Product Management on our Product Management team in Hopkinton, MA or Austin, TX to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you'll achieve

As a Consultant, Product Management, you will be responsible for defining and driving the security and compliance strategy for our Automation Platform, private cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure portfolio, and ensuring our products can demonstrate compliance to customers and regulators. You will work with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security and Program teams on certifications, secure development practices and market-access activities that let customers in regulated industries and governments trust our solutions.

You will:

  • Identify the regulatory, industry-standard, customer and contractual compliance obligations that apply to our products and translate them into clear product requirements and priorities.
  • Lead certification, audit and validation efforts (for example Common Criteria, FIPS 140, STIG hardening, accessibility conformance and the EU Cyber Resilience Act) from scoping through completion, coordinating evidence, readiness reviews and remediation.
  • Govern Dell Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) adherence across the portfolio by tracking conformance, managing exceptions and driving remediation of gaps.
  • Oversee vulnerability and CVE compliance activities, including prioritization support, exception review and reporting, in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Review compliance claims and customer commitments to confirm they are supported by evidence, and support export and trade compliance for distribution in regulated markets.

Take the first step towards your dream career

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:

  • Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks and standards such as SDL, FIPS 140, Common Criteria, STIG, VPAT or EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements.
