About the job

Agentic AI – Now Assist Lead

About the role

As an Agentic AI – Now Assist Lead, you will make an impact by leading Cognizant’s Agentic AI and Now Assist capability and bringing AI-powered triage, deflection, and orchestration to workflows across IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and beyond. You will be a valued member of the Center of Excellence (CoE), working collaboratively with senior Capability Leaders as a technical peer and enablement partner across product lines.

In this role, you will:

· Lead complex Now Assist and AI Agent implementations, providing architecture-level support for agent orchestration failures, prompt and skill tuning, and downstream workflow integrations; serve as on-call technical escalation support when issues across other capability streams have an agentic AI root cause.

· Own the Agentic AI and Now Assist roadmap and the CoE’s AI-vector mapping for roadmap planning and request for proposal (RFP) discussions.

· Build reusable accelerators for ITSM and AI Agent triage and deflection in Q4 FY26, and for Now Assist and AI Agents agentic workflows in Q1 FY27.

· Lead RFP architecture where Agentic AI differentiates the solution, and establish responsible AI and AI governance delivery standards for the CoE.

· Partner with the Academy to co-deliver Agentic AI upskilling through dedicated cohorts and modules embedded in other capability streams’ training.

Your capacity will be split between billable delivery (at least 60%) and core CoE responsibilities (no more than 40%).

What you need to have to be considered

• A current Now Assist and/or AI Agents credential.

• Ability to work as a technical peer and enablement partner to senior Capability Leaders across product lines.

These will help you stand out

· Experience with Predictive Intelligence and/or Virtual Agent.

· Working knowledge of prompt engineering and AI governance practices.
