About the job

What success looks like in this role:

Portfolio Strategy and Innovation

  • Set the vision, strategy, investment priorities, and multi-year roadmaps for the global CAI offering portfolio, aligned with revenue, profitability, market-share, and client-outcome goals.
  • Own each offering’s scope, value proposition, target buyers, business case, lifecycle, release plan, and retirement decisions.
  • Use market, advisor, alliance, startup, client, and win/loss signals to prioritize investments and keep the portfolio differentiated and relevant.
  • Make AI-first the portfolio design principle by embedding AI capabilities into offerings and coordinating features with Global Innovation & Architecture and other AI teams.

Solution Development and Delivery

  • Lead a Solution Development team that remains 60–70% billable while delivering pilots, proofs of concept, accelerators, and other targeted client projects.
  • Direct the remaining team capacity toward reusable intellectual property, including agents and AI assets built on standard platform architectures and released as managed solution versions.
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering and Delivery on client deployments, quality, utilization, and the conversion of proven work into scalable offerings and client proof points.
  • Maintain demonstrations and sandbox environments for Sales and Presales and support early client rollouts.

Architecture, Quality, and Governance

  • Guide the design of secure, scalable, modular, and delivery-feasible solutions, reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable components.
  • Apply AI testing and governance standards before client use and ensure compliance, security, quality, and operational readiness across the portfolio.
  • Use client delivery and win/loss insights to improve the backlog, roadmap, solution packaging, and standard offerings.

Commercialization and Support of Go-to-Market

  • Own the offering business case, partnering with Finance, Pricing, and Delivery to establish cost, margin, pricing guidance, and ROI. GTM translates these inputs into price books and deal pricing.
  • Provide Presales and Delivery with offering guidance, demos, FAQs, runbooks, and release education. GTM, Marketing, and Sales Enablement own sales collateral and seller training.
  • Advise strategic pursuits on solution feasibility, differentiation, and delivery risk. GTM owns pursuit strategy and execution.
  • Use customer, market, and sales insights from GTM to shape offerings, prioritize roadmaps, and validate market fit.
  • Solutions Management owns the offering—strategy, definition, roadmap, lifecycle, economics, and readiness. GTM owns the route to market—positioning, launch, campaigns, sales enablement, pipeline, and pursuits.

Cross-Functional and Client Leadership

  • Establish clear decision rights across Go-to-Market, Delivery, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Marketing, and shared functions to support fast, disciplined execution.
  • Represent the portfolio with clients and senior stakeholders, adapting solutions based on market conditions, competition, deal dynamics, and executive feedback.
  • Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineering, Global Innovation & Architecture, AI Infrastructure & Hosting, the AI Practice, and scaled-delivery teams.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing global team of solution professionals, technologists, architects, and subject matter experts with strong technical depth and client-facing capability.
  • Coach the team in solution design, financial modeling, offering management, delivery quality, and executive client engagement.
  • Align organization structure, skills, capacity, and ways of working to support rapid innovation and business growth.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • 20+ years of experience in information technology services, consulting, architecture, presales solutioning, or related leadership roles, including 12+ years of deep technical experience across cloud, applications, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and AI.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a global offering portfolio, including strategy, business cases, roadmaps, release management, commercialization, and retirement decisions.
  • Experience building, testing, governing, and moving machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions into production; recent AI certifications are preferred.
  • Experience leading a billable solution development team against utilization, delivery quality, and reusable-asset goals.
  • Proven success leading high-performing global technical teams and working across Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Finance, Pricing, Legal, Marketing, and governance functions.
  • Strong financial and commercial judgment, including pricing, cost modeling, margin management, and investment prioritization.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence senior leaders and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
