A rapidly growing healthcare services organization with a significant presence across Texas is seeking a Director of Data Engineering & Strategy to lead a major enterprise data modernization initiative. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of a new cloud-based data warehouse while ensuring the stability and ongoing operations of existing data systems throughout the migration process.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data leader who combines strong technical expertise with strategic business acumen. The ideal candidate will bring experience building modern data platforms from the ground up, leading cross-functional teams, and partnering with business stakeholders to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Management
Experience leading enterprise data warehouse initiatives from strategy through implementation
Hands-on experience with Snowflake
Experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
Proven track record building data platforms or warehouses from scratch

Desired Skills & Experience

Healthcare or multi-site services industry experience
Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Experience establishing data strategy, KPIs, and governance frameworks
Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics platforms
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
