  • Verify quantities of installed work and assist with measurement and payment documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress and report schedule impacts, delays, and potential claims issues.
  • Observe material deliveries, equipment installation, testing activities, startup procedures, and commissioning operations.
  • Witness testing, inspections, and acceptance procedures required by project specifications.
  • Support substantial completion, final acceptance, and project closeout activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum ten (10) years of construction inspection, construction observation, resident project representative, or related field experience on water, wastewater, utility, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum five (5) years of direct construction inspection, construction observation, resident project representative, startup support, or commissioning support experience on water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects.
  • At least fifty percent (50%) of the candidate's overall construction inspection experience must be associated with water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, process facilities, or treatment process improvements.
  • NICET Certification (preferred)
  • APWA-CPII Certification (preferred)
  • TCEQ Water Operator License
