Overview

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support our Finance team in the US. This role is responsible for month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, allocations, and other accounting adjustments.

• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.

• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including cash application and reconciliations.

• Maintain and optimize accounting procedures, controls, and documentation.

• Provide Sales and Use Tax data and reporting support to the Tax Department. Manage SAP transactions and document reversals as required.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with solid knowledge of accounting; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.

• 0-3 years of general Ledger accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or multinational environment, would be an advantage.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, month-end close processes, accrual accounting, and financial reporting.

• Basic Excel skills, using formulas, and input into financial models.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Team-oriented with a proactive, result-driven mindset.

$62,000 and $99,200.
