**The Role:**We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our day-to-day accounting operations across a multi-entity, multi-currency business operating in the US, UK, Ireland, India, Austria, and Australia. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll own the quality, timeliness, and integrity of the monthly close and financial reporting process.
You will also help shape what comes next. Our vision for the future of Finance is one where AI agents work alongside human team members, handling repeatable, high-volume work so people can focus on judgment, analysis, and partnership with the business. In this role, you’ll dig into how we work today, identify where and how to change it, and help lead the transition.
**What you will own:**Close and Financial Reporting
-
Own the month-, quarter-, and year-end close process across all entities, driving a predictable calendar and timely, accurate and complete results
-
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and consolidation adjustments
-
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
-
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and support local statutory reporting requirements
-
Partner with FP&A on forecast inputs, variance analysis, and balance sheet and cash flow support
Audit, Compliance, & Technical Accounting
-
Serve as a primary contact for external auditors, managing PBC lists
-
Apply and document accounting policies, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases, stock-based compensation, business combinations (ASC 8050 and intercompany arrangements)
-
Research and resolve complex accounting questions, and escalate significant judgments to the VP of Finance
-
Coordinate with Tax and external advisors on income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and payroll-related accounting
Finance Transformation and AI Enablement
-
Perform a deep review of current accounting processes end to end (e.g., close, reconciliations, intercompany, accruals, AP/AR support, reporting), documenting how work gets done today, where time is spent, and where errors and bottlenecks arise
-
Identify and prioritize opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, or hand off to AI agents, balancing impact, risk, effort, and control implications
-
Define the future-state operating model: which tasks agents perform, which remain with humans, and where human review and judgment are required
-
Partner with Finance leadership, IT, and technology vendors to pilot, validate, and scale agent-enabled workflows, including defining requirements, test cases, and success metrics
-
Monitor the quality and performance of agent-supported processes, and refine them over time
-
Build the roadmap and business case for process changes, and communicate progress to stakeholders
What we are looking for:
-
Bachelors degree in accounting, CPA a plus
-
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, high-growth or PE/VC-back experience a plus
-
Experience implementing AI, RPA, or workflow automation in a finance function
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Excellent understanding of internal controls and ability to build internal processes that promote accurate financial reporting at scale; willingness to challenge how things have been done
-
Highly organized and strong attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
-
Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise growth
-
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, both financial analysis and data set analysis
-
Comfort working across time zones, with flexibility for overlap with Ireland and India
-
Sound judgment, ownership mindset, and ability to manage competing deadlines
\n$120,000 - $130,000 a year
