Who we’re looking for

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as an Accounting Transformation - Project Manager.

The Accounting function currently relies on a highly manual, complex patchwork of processes and applications developed over many years to deliver timely and accurate financial information to Japan and regulatory financial authorities. To ensure long-term sustainability and support future enterprise growth objectives, this key function must become more efficient, scalable, and resilient while continuing to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

This role will serve as the subject matter expert for accounting within the Accounting Transformation program. The role will provide detailed accounting knowledge and practical insight to support design decisions, validate requirements, and ensure that future-state processes, data flows, and reporting capabilities appropriately reflect accounting needs.

The role would focus on learning the end-to-end accounting process, helping execute project tasks, and contribute to the design of a more efficient and scalable future-state operating model.

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Subject matter expertise in Accounting / Accounting systems
• Ability to plan, prioritize and self-manage tasks
• Four-year college degree 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in similar field and/or industry

Added bonus if you have

• SAP and / or equivalent ERP systems knowledge
• Banking or financial services experience
• Post graduate degree
