Child Care Specialist – Part-Time

Spring Oak La Isha Pay: $17.50 per hour Part-time opportunities available on all shifts

La Isha is a wellness resort for mothers of newborn infants, women seeking rest and recovery, and busy mothers in need of a getaway.

We are seeking caring, dependable part-time Child Care Specialists to assist with newborn care in our nursery. Under the direction of the Executive Director or scheduled supervisor, you will help provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants while their mothers rest.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to newborns’ needs and regularly monitor their safety and well-being.

• Follow nursery routines and infant care procedures under the direction of the Executive Director or scheduled supervisor.

• Keep the nursery and equipment clean and sanitized.

• Monitor nursery supplies and communicate replenishment needs.

• Wash, sort, and organize clothing and linens used for infant care.

• Follow facility policies and protocols for infant care and guest services.

• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and mothers.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to attend and successfully complete La Isha’s required newborn care training.

• A patient, caring approach and commitment to infant safety.

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize needs.

• Dependability, honesty, and professional communication.

• A positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
