Overview Microsoft Global Healthcare Partner Sales is seeking an experienced Senior Partner Development Manager-Healthcare to lead strategic engagement with healthcare ISVs, EHR platforms, systems integrators, clinical application partners, and strategic healthcare technology accounts. This role will build partner-led growth motions across Dragon Copilot, ambient clinical intelligence, marketplace/co-sell execution, partner onboarding, pipeline development, renewal protection, and cross-functional execution.

The ideal candidate brings healthcare domain knowledge, executive stakeholder management, sales or partner ecosystem experience, and a proven ability to turn complex relationships into measurable business outcomes. Candidates may come from partner management, strategic alliances, channel sales, business development, or direct enterprise sales backgrounds if they can demonstrate the ability to influence through partners and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities Partner Strategy & Engagement

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential ISVs and EHR vendors into the Clinical Apps Embed program.
  • Develop joint business plans and solution roadmaps with strategic partners.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned partners, advocating for their success internally.

Sales & GTM Execution

  • Drive partner sales performance to meet revenue and adoption targets.
  • Enable partners to leverage Microsoft programs, incentives, and co-sell platforms.
  • Collaborate with field sellers, Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs), and Systems Integrators (SIs) to execute joint Go-to-Market **(**GTM) campaigns.

Technical Integration & Validation

  • Guide partners through technical validation, AppSource publishing, and Dragon Copilot Software Development Kit (SDK) integration.
  • Coordinate with engineering and product teams to resolve integration blockers and ensure solution readiness.

Program Management

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of partner onboarding, from nomination through Direct Bill assessment.
  • Maintain tight communication with partners during allow listing, compliance checks, and onboarding phases.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with legal, compliance, and licensing teams to ensure agreements reflect actual partner status and meet audit requirements.
  • Contribute to program guide updates and scalable process documentation.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 5+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Dragon Medical, DAX, or Dragon Copilot
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, with  familiarity across provider, payer, or health IT segments.
  • 4+ years of experience managing healthcare partner sales, channel sales, or strategic alliances.
  • Familiarity with ambient clinical documentation, AI-powered healthcare solutions, or virtual assistant technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in launching healthcare solutions via AppSource or similar marketplaces.
  • Exposure to SDK/Application Programming Interface (API) integration workflows in clinical applications.
  • Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for partner engagement and industry events
  • Experience with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) and clinical application workflows.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance, regulatory frameworks, and reimbursement models.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, MSX) and pipeline management.

Partner Development Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
