Description:

Clinical Technician -Full-time- Nights - 4th Med/Surg - St. Mary's Health Care System - Athens, GAPosition Purpose:

The Clinical Tech will work in 4th Med/Surg within St. Mary's Hospital in Athens GA.

What you will do:

The Clinical Technician works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the clinical tech include assessing and providing basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The clinical technician should be self-motivated and able to function as a member of a health care team.

What you will need:

****Licensure/Certification/Registration:  ****Nursing Assistant certification preferred. BLS certification required.

****Education:  ****Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent. A student in a medical field program may be hired into a clinical technician position.

****Experience:   ****Hospital or Clinical experience preferred

****Special Qualifications: ****Computer skills required.  Medical terminology preferred.
