JOB TITLE: Primary Care Physician

LOCATION: 1521 South Staples, Floor 3rd, Corpus Christi, TX, 78404

DUTIES: Provide for the medical care of patients; direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team; treat chronic diseases and disorders; review patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status; elicit and record information about patient's medic al history; order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition; analyze reports an findings of tests and examination and diagnosis condition of patient; participate with peers, employed specialists, such as dermatology, podiatry, and wound care for the comprehensive care of patient; participate in business and patient care meetings; and perform all other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Ph.D. in Medicine and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Physician-related occupation. Position requires 36 months of experience in the following:

*    Provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy and management of patients according to current standards of care; *    Utilize managed care processes for cost-effective and efficient use of lab, radiology and extended service providers, including specialists, hospitals, skilled nursing providers, and other ancillary services; *    Complete timely and comprehensive medical documentation in EMR systems according to company standards; *    Conduct or directs education effective communications to patients, families, and other health care providers; and *    Conduct educational activities for organization's physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and their ancillary staff for the purposes of education and patient care. Must possess a valid Texas Medical or Physician License.

RATE OF PAY:  $235,000 / per year
