Providence is calling for Clinical Ethics Fellow - Full time, Day, Onsite

The Clinical Ethics Fellow works with the Director and Clinical Ethicist(s) to learn, develop, and practice the skills necessary to serve in the field of health care ethics through providing clinical ethics consultation, delivering ethics education, engaging in research and scholarship, and providing organizational ethics support. The Clinical Ethics Fellow promotes excellence in the professional practice of clinical ethics consultation by engaging in continuous quality improvement, peer-to-peer feedback, and contributing to the development of rigorous clinical ethics training programs with the Director, Ethicist(s), and Center staff. In addition, under the supervision of the Director and Ethicist(s), the Clinical Ethics Fellow will learn the knowledge necessary to develop essential skills for advancing the ethical dimensions of the Providence health care ministry consistent with the Providence Mission and Values, the Center for Health Care Ethics statement of vision and the Theology and Ethics statement of Vision. The Clinical Ethics Fellow works with the Director and Ethicist(s) to engage in the various ethics participatory mechanisms across the Providence system by supporting ethics committees/councils and participating in research ethics initiatives (e.g., Institutional Review Board(s)); the Clinical Ethics Fellow may also contribute to system-wide projects and initiatives at the discretion of the Director and fellowship faculty.
