How you’ll contribute

A Pharmacy Inventory Technician who excels in this role:

• Restocks and maintains pharmacy inventory per current practice.

• Coordinates all inventory activities with Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator.

• Assists in maintenance of computerized inventory system and medication database.

• Assists with purchase orders and disbursement of stock items.

• Coordinates product returns and medication recall activities.

• Participates in dispensing activities utilizing medication carousel.

• Participates in medication delivery activities and filling of automated dispensing cabinets

What we’re looking for

• High School diploma

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy

• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Skills: Critical thinking and decisive judgment; able to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments.

• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple clinical software systems.

• Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).

• Ability to successfully complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
