Location: Clinton Regional Hospital at 610 West Main Street, Wilmington, OH 45177

Work Hours:

• Part time – 48 hours biweekly
• Day shift
• Weekend and Holiday rotation

Bonus Opportunity: This position qualifies for a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a 12-month commitment (external qualified candidates only).

Minimum Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Technology, Chemical or Biological Science (Required)
• 1 - 2 years’ experience clinical in a related field (Preferred)
• Other American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) Required

Job Overview This position is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of test results, and reporting laboratory findings to the doctors, pathologists, or other physicians. This position may work in any of the major areas of the laboratory: Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. Operates and maintains a variety of laboratory instruments. Utilizes the laboratory computer system in performance of duties. This position maintains strict adherence to established policies and procedures and works under the supervision of a general supervisor or medical technologist.

Direct supervision is not required for specimen processing, test performance, or result reporting. In addition to the direct supervisor, this position receives oversight from the Medical Director.
