Job Description​

*Saint Luke’s North Hospital is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist (Clinical Lab Scientist, Medical Technologist) to join our lab team. *

Our laboratory is equipped with advanced instrumentation, operating on the Sysmex XN1000, Stago Compact Max, Atellica, GEM, UN2000, and Echo. The laboratory staff have a window view and flexible 12-hour shift scheduling.

The Work:

• PRN - 12 hour shifts from 6 to 6:30, day and night.

• Performs accurate and reliable analyses on a variety of patient samples.

• Recognizes technical, instrument or clinical correlation problems, identifying causes and evaluating alternative solutions

• Confirms and verifies laboratory results utilizing in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments

• Correlates and interprets data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results

• Establishes and monitors quality assurance programs

• Participates in performance improvement programs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Less than 1 year of lab experience
• ASCP Certified (new graduates required to pass certification board exam within 9 months of hire)
