The Team You’ll Join

The Benefits team plays a vital role in shaping the employee experience across Envestnet by designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing global benefits programs that support employees in the U.S., Canada, and India. Drawing on data, market insights, and employee feedback, the team develops innovative, competitive, and compliant programs that promote well-being, engagement, and long-term success. Working closely with employees, People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external partners, they ensure seamless benefits administration while delivering meaningful support throughout every stage of an employee’s career. Their impact is felt across the organization as they help attract and retain top talent, improve the employee experience, and strengthen Envestnet’s position as an employer of choice.

How You**’ll** Contribute

Provides leadership and oversight for the Benefits group. Oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of benefits policies and programs. Ensures programs meet employee and company needs, are cost effective and are current with trends and best practices. Collaborates and consults with People & Culture and business leaders on objectives, policies and proposed changes and enhancements. Develops and/or oversees the development of processes and tools to facilitate administration of effective, equitable and legally compliant programs. Ensures benefits programs and practices facilitate the company’s market competitiveness.

•    Leads end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and delivering outcomes on time and within scope. •    Oversees benefit program operations and enhancements. •    Partners with leadership to execute on organizational priorities •    Evaluates external market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging practices to inform program design and implementation. •    Supports and develops multi‑year roadmaps for benefits strategy, including wellbeing, health, retirement, and statutory offerings – leading global initiatives such as benefit harmonization, plan redesigns, vendor transitions, benchmarking studies, and policy updates. •    Leads, coaches, and develops a global benefits team responsible for execution, administration, and employee support across multiple countries. •    Provides direct oversight of benefits programs in the United States, Canada, and India, ensuring alignment to global standards while meeting local statutory and cultural requirements. •    Ensures country‑specific programs are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, partnering closely with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and regional stakeholders. •    Acts as the escalation point for complex country‑specific issues, risks, and regulatory matters. •    Oversees plan documentation, compliance filings, notices, audits, and required regulatory reporting. •    Oversees and governs charitable giving programs, expanding oversight. •    Reviews the company’s benefits plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. •    Evaluates, recommends, and oversees implementation of benefits program changes and improvements. •    Tracks and addresses benefits-related complaints and identifies trends and key issues to be addressed. •    Develops communication strategies, including those governing: new hire benefits material, annual enrollment information and communication materials, periodic and ongoing employee manuals and communications, exit materials, post-employment materials and materials in support of recruiting and Talent Acquisition activity. •    Negotiates and manages services and costs with external providers and benefits management companies. •    Consults with and advises People & Culture colleagues on eligibility requirements, health / welfare plans, disability plans, wellness plans, other benefits, amounts of coverage, and claims procedures. •    Addresses escalated issues, ensuring responses are timely, appropriate, and sensitive to emerging issues and concerns. •    Leads the implementation and ongoing management of global benefits programs across the U.S., Canada, and India, translating benefits strategy into clear operational plans, program requirements, and measurable outcomes. •    Analyzes benefits utilization, employee feedback, market practices, vendor performance, and cost trends to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements that support employee needs and organizational priorities.

What You**’ll** Need to Bring

•    Experience implementing, administering, and enhancing benefits programs across multiple countries or regions, with the ability to translate broader benefits strategies into effective operational plans. •    Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, coordinate cross-functional work, and deliver accurate, timely, and compliant outcomes. •    Strong knowledge of benefits administration, governance, and compliance requirements, including experience supporting audits, regulatory filings, plan documentation, and escalated benefits matters. •    Analytical and business acumen, with experience using benefits data, market benchmarks, cost information, employee feedback, and vendor performance measures to identify trends and recommend program improvements. •    Experience managing brokers, consultants, and benefits vendors, including renewals, implementation projects, service delivery, performance management, and issue resolution. •    Ability to build effective working relationships with People & Culture, Legal, Finance, Payroll, regional stakeholders, and external partners. •    Strong communication and consultation skills, including the ability to explain complex benefits information, advise internal stakeholders, and develop clear employee-facing communications. •    Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day program operations while managing multiple priorities across countries, programs, and stakeholder groups. •    Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.

Nice-to-Haves

•    Experience supporting benefits programs across the U.S., Canada, and India. •    Experience leading complex benefits initiatives, such as plan redesigns, global harmonization efforts, vendor transitions, or benefits integration following organizational change. •    Experience within a global Total Rewards function. •    Experience with Workday Benefits or similar HR technology platforms. •    CEBS or other relevant benefits or Total Rewards certification.

Our Investment in You

*This role offers a base salary range of $138,500 to $173,100. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.  This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.   *
