Immigration & Work Authorization Program Administrator

Are you passionate about compliance, process excellence, and helping employees navigate complex work authorization requirements? We are seeking an Immigration & Work Authorization Program Administrator to oversee employment authorization and immigration-related programs while partnering closely with employees, managers, HR teams, and external legal counsel.

In this role, you will manage critical employment authorization processes, support visa sponsorship programs, and ensure compliance with federal regulations. You will also play a key role in educating stakeholders, improving processes, analyzing program effectiveness, and delivering a positive employee experience.


What You'll Do


  • Administer employment authorization programs, including I-9 compliance, employment authorization document (EAD) reverifications, and visa sponsorship processes.
  • Partner with external immigration counsel to support visa sponsorship and employment authorization requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to employees, managers, and HR partners on work authorization policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide insights and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, communications, and training materials.
  • Collaborate across HR, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and business teams to ensure consistent execution of employment authorization programs.
  • Support compliance audits, risk mitigation efforts, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and employee experience.

What We're Looking For


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience (2+years) administering programs, projects, or operations in HR, immigration, compliance, employee mobility, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of employment authorization requirements, I-9 administration, immigration processes, or regulatory compliance programs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
  • Curiosity on learning and leveraging Artificial Intelligence

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting employment-based immigration programs (such as H-1B or other visa sponsorship programs).
  • Experience working with immigration counsel or employment authorization vendors.
  • Knowledge of employment eligibility verification and compliance best practices.
  • Project or program management experience.
