About the job
Change the world. Love your job. This is an exciting time to join Texas Instruments in Lehi, Utah. As TI expands its manufacturing footprint, the LFAB2 fab project is a critical part of our long-term growth roadmap and competitive advantage. We are in the early phases of building construction and MERFEI installation, creating unique opportunities to help shape a major factory project from the ground up. We are looking for motivated, capable individuals who want to work on a fast-paced, high-impact project and help deliver a world-class manufacturing environment.
As a Contracts and Permitting Coordinator, you will own deep working knowledge of each contractor's contract, negotiated terms, and red-lines, ensuring the field team understands contract-specific requirements and that all contractors are held accountable to their commitments. In this role, you will also own tracking and compliance for all applicable permitting requirements—construction, environmental, safety, and health related—partnering with the scheduling team to ensure permitting milestones and submittal requirements are built into the master schedule and met on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain detailed knowledge of each contractor's contract terms, negotiated red-lines, and scope-specific deviations across all trade packages
- Communicate contract differences, obligations, and accountability requirements clearly to Superintendents, Construction Managers, and field teams
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual commitments and proactively flag non-compliance or deviations for resolution
- Support Construction Managers and Procurement in enforcing contract terms, including change management, claims, and dispute considerations tied to red-lined provisions
- Serve as the go-to resource for contract clarification when questions arise in the field
- Own and maintain a comprehensive tracking log of all permitting requirements, including construction, environmental, safety, and health-related permits
- Monitor permit status, renewal timelines, and submittal deadlines, ensuring timely action to maintain continuous compliance
- Partner with the Scheduler to incorporate permitting milestones, submittal deadlines, and inspection requirements into the master schedule
- Enforce team and contractor compliance with applicable permitting regulations, escalating gaps or risks to Construction and PMOC leadership as needed
- Coordinate with environmental, safety, and health teams to ensure permitting conditions and regulatory requirements are understood and met across the project
- Track and communicate upcoming regulatory deadlines, inspections, or submittal requirements to relevant stakeholders to avoid lapses in compliance
- Support audits or regulatory reviews by maintaining organized, accurate, and readily accessible contract and permitting documentation
Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.
